Old, Damaged, Pitted and/or Corroded pieces
We may not be able to remove these blemishes entirely but we will do the best job possible. We can always make items look beautiful, but we can’t always make them look like new. Occasionally we encounter a problem during the cleaning or plating process which prevents us from completing the work. Under these circumstances, we reserve the right to return your piece unfinished (at no charge).
Silver Replating
Silver replating is warranteed for 25 years against peeling, flaking or wearing off under normal use (excluding steel flatware). Silverplated items under warranty can be refinished free-of-charge when returned to Colonial Brass. This warranty does not cover refinishing necessitated by mishandling, breakage, abuse, accident, tarnishing or exposure to corrosive substances.
