Bronzed battle cross rededication for Spc. Cody Ford
Tom, Mark and Adam attended the rededication of the Bronzed battle cross memorial for Spc. Cody Ford in Jones Creek, TX this Saturday morning. IF you remember the news story from Feb. 09', Cody's Memorial was stolen from the grave site and has not been found. Mr. Ford contacted Colonial Brass to make another battle cross to replace the stolen one that we made last year. Using a pair of combat boots Cody wore during his basic training, a rifle that was gladly donated by a local dealer and an exact match to the original helmet that we purchased locally, we bronzed and remounted the battle cross to the platform provided by Mr. Ford.
The Ford Family was very appreciative for all the support from the community as well as the outpouring via email from coast to coast.
